Pride and joy
Despite the cold winter (-20's AGAIN) spring seems to be approaching. Each day brings 5 more minutes of daylight and it's starting to show. So no more snowy pictures, never mind how it looks outside.
I love daffodils, they truly are the harbingers of spring. There's nothing like sitting amongst them on a sunny spring day. I've made a list of all my varieties here. So stop by if you are a fellow narcissist ;)
Picture is of the variety Pink Pride. Last spring was quite cool and it really made the colors vivid.
Kevät on tosiaan tulossa, kolme uutta blogia, yksi puutarhasta ja kaksi parvekkeesta: Scillan parveke, Tarhurin parveke ja Puutarhaprojekti. Tätä vauhtia puutarhabloggaajia on ainakin kolmekymmentä toukokuuhun mennessä. Lisää laatulukemista. Loistavaa :)

Scilla: Tyypillinen suomalainen asenne on juuri se, että "En minä nyt viitsisi mitään blogia pitää, kuka sitä nyt muka kävisi lukemassa..." Ja varmaan ne, jotka todennäköisimmin noin ajattelevat ovat niitä, joilla olisi kaikkein eniten tietoa jaettavana. Mutta odotellaan :)
Minä ainakin lupaan käydä tilaamassa jokaisen puutarha-aiheisen blogin, joka ilmestyy blogilistalle.

I have only one book about daffodils (also there aren't that many written solely about them): Brent and Becky Heath's Daffodils for North American Gardens. It's very good, although I would have liked it to be longer and more detailed.
But then I guess the only kind of book about daffs that would really satisfy me would include pictures of all of the 30.000 registered cultivars and have tons of other information :)
